Refund & Cancellation Policy

Kool Kids Entertainment understand that sometimes plans change and that it may become necessary to amend or cancel your booking. Our refund and cancellation policy details any cancellation fees that may be due and payable or if any refunds would be due.

 

Our refund and cancellation policy applies to all our bookings and accompanies our Booking / Hire Terms & Conditions Policy.

 

On booking a bouncy castle hire, soft play or children's party package with us (Kool Kids Entertainment) you have the right to cancel and receive any payment back within 7 days of making your booking, unless your booking is received within 7 days before your event then you can only change the item or date, no refund will be made.

 

If you wish to change the bouncy castle or children's party package this must be done with a minimum of 7 days notice and is subject to availability.

Booking Fee

A 20% booking fee will be required in most circumstances and will be deducted from the total cost of your booking. Details of how to make this booking fee will be emailed to you along with your booking confirmation. If you do not receive these emails please check your spam / junk folder.

 

Your booking fee payment is a non — refundable, covering our administrative costs when reserving your date and assets / equipment. Please see below for more information on circumstances where this may be refunded

 

Booking fees are to be paid within 3 working days, when packages / assets / equipment and dates have been reserved. Kool Kids Entertainment can not hold any dates for assets / equipment without a booking fee paid.

 

Kool Kids Entertainment will send a reminder email if no booking fee payment has been received after 3 working days. Should we not receive your booking fee payment after 5 working days Kool Kids Entertainment reserves the right to cancel your booking and release the date and or assets available to be booked by others.

Cancellation by Kool Kids Entertainment

It is very rare for us to have to cancel a booking, but sometimes we are forced to due to circumstances that are beyond our control.

Cancellation due to reasons beyond our control (except for weather please see below) a full refund of any monies paid including any booking fee, i.e but not exhausted to vehicle breakdown, equipment breakdown, staff shortages or any other reason, excluding health and safety grounds, lack of space, access, wrong surface type or for not producing if requested acceptable forms of ID, as these are confirmed before booking and are down to the customer to check and confirm.

Cancellation due to Weather

If we, Kool Kids Entertainment cancel due to poor weather conditions the option of either a new hire date or a full refund will be offered.

If the customer cancels due to poor weather a new hire date will be offered but no refund will be given.

Cancellations by the customer due to weather conditions must given at least 1 hour before the agreed delivery time. Failure to do so will result in the full hire or package charge payable.

Cancellation by the Customer

All cancellations must be made over the phone by calling 07949 837154 during normal office hours of 10am to 8pm. Cancellations cannot be taken by voicemail, text, email or any other methods.

 

The following charges will apply to all bookings where cancelled by the customer:

 

- Cancellation for all outdoor bouncy castle bookings.

  • Cancellation on the day either at the time of delivery or within 1 hour of the agreed delivery time - 100%
  • Cancellation 1 hour or more before the agreed delivery time - No charge except any booking fee paid.
  • Cancellation 7 full days before - No charge except any booking fee paid.

 

- Cancellation for all indoor bouncy castle & party package bookings.

  • Cancellation on the day or after 12pm the day before - 100%
  • Cancellation 6 full days before - the day before or 2 full days before - 50%
  • Cancellation 7 full days before - No charge except any booking fee paid.

 

- Cancellation for all event, funday or corporate / commercial events.

  • Cancellation less than 7 days before the event - 100%
  • Cancellation less than 14 days before the event - 50%
  • Cancellation 14 full days before - No charge except any booking fee paid.

 

- Cancellation for balloons.

  • Cancellation on the day or after 12pm the day before - 100%
  • Cancellation before 12pm the day before or 1 full day before - 50%
  • Cancellation 2 to 6 full days before - No charge except any deposit fee paid.
  • Cancellation 7 full days before - No charge except any booking fee paid.

 

- Cancellation for other services.

  • Cancellation on the day or after 12pm the day before - 100%
  • Cancellation before 12pm the day before or 1 full day before - 50%
  • Cancellation 2 to 6 full days before - No charge except any deposit fee paid.
  • Cancellation 7 full days before - No charge except any booking fee paid.

Cancellation due to unsuitable surface or size / Part package cancellation

It is the customers / clients responsibility to measure the size of the area that the bouncy castle, inflatable or soft play will be located, including the venues ceiling height for indoor hires.

The bouncy castle, inflatable and soft play size is clearly displayed within the bouncy castle, inflatable, soft play description and its required area size.

 

Bounce & Party reserve the right to cancel / refuse the setup of a bouncy castle, inflatable or soft play if:

 

  • The setup area is of an insufficient size that is likely to cause injury and / or damage to our equipment.
  • The surface type is not suitable for appropriate anchorage and / or likely to cause injury or damage to our equipment.
  • The ceiling height within indoor venues is not high enough and / or likely to cause injury or damage to our equipment.
  • For any other reason that Kool Kids Entertainment believe that a bouncy castle, inflatable, soft play or any equipment provided by Kool Kids Entertainment may or is likely to cause injury or damage to our equipment, the setup location or venue.

 

Where we are unable to set up the bouncy castle, inflatable or soft play due to issues relating to insufficient area size, unsuitable surface type or inadequate ceiling height the full remaining payment balance will still be payable.

 

When a bouncy castle, inflatable or soft play is hired as part of a party package but is cancelled due to insufficient area size, unsuitable surface type or inadequate ceiling height the full party package remaining payment balance will still be payable. Other services within the party package will still be provided.

 

Force Majeure

Kool Kids Entertainment will not be liable for any failure or delay in our obligations where that failure or delays from cause is beyond our reasonable control. Such causes include, but are limited to: traffic, weather effecting delivery of equipment to a location by specified time, weather effecting use of equipment, power failure, industrial action, civil unrest, fire, explosion, flood, storms, earthquakes, acts of war, governmental action, epidemic, pandemic or other natural disasters or anything else that is beyond our control.

 

If Kool Kids Entertainment have to cancel due to Force Majeure providing that you have only paid your Booking Fee, none of the above cancellation charges set out in section 10 will need to be paid however your Booking Fee is non-refundable and only transferable to a date within six Months of your original booking date. If You have paid in full, we will allocate any payments already made to a new booking. We cannot refund the money already paid it must be allocated a new booking within six months of original booking date.
